Victoria Lynn Greening Marks, my dear sister and friend passed away on January 8, 2002, after an extended illness and is joining her beloved parents, Gloria Erma Greening Nee Dorshimer and Henry Walter Greening. Born on September 19, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, she was raised Lutheran and in true "Pennsylvania Dutch" and "German Style." Victoria graduated from Idaho Falls High School where she participated in Spanish Club and was on the Senior Song Committee. She continued her studies at the University of Utah and received her AMA Degree from Salt Lake City Community College.

In her life she was a lover of swimming, cats, horses, books, and a Star Trek Fan and collector.

She is survived by her sister, Lucinda Gregory Greening Rice; brother-in-law, James Eugene Rice of Pocatello, Idaho; her loved niece, Miranda Leigh, and nephew, James Erin Rice of Pocatello, Idaho; and niece, Corrinne Rice Lewis of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Special thanks to all those who tried to help Victoria with her illnesses.

Also surviving relatives are in Allentown, Pennsylvania, great aunts, Marguerite, Gladys, and Evelyn, and great uncle, Luther; and second cousins, Miriam and Chip of Chicago, Illinois; uncles, Robert and Reinhold Greening; aunts, Evelyn Schlager, Carol Greening and Elaine Greening; cousins, Debbie and David and their children.

No Services will be held, but in accordance with her wishes she will have her ashes scattered over Mount Olympus in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the spring, while her friends gather below and raise a glass to the heavens, in acknowledgement of their memories of her.
