Kristina Sue Thorsted Ellingford, 66, of Idaho Falls, wife of Lon Ellingford, passed away March 21, 2017, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family and Hospice of Eastern Idaho. Kristina was born January 27, 1951, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1969 where she was a member of Future Teachers of America. 

Kristina was a teacher at Progressive Childcare. The love Kristina had for teaching the children in her class was a powerful example. She taught that teaching young minds was a powerful career choice.

Kris was a sweet, caring and kind person, a lovely wife, mom, and aunt who was so proud of her children and thrilled with her grandchildren. She was always so willing to give of herself to help others.
