Tour of the Scottish Rite Cathedral

The tour of the Scottish Rite Cathedral on Tuesday, December 23rd at 10:00 a.m. downtown is a go!!!! Simply selct the "Contact Us" tab on the left to let me know how many will be attending or go to the "Scottish Rite Cathedral" tab and register the number in your party. Friends and family are welcome. Cost to enter the venue is a $10 donation per person. Children are $5. The Cathedral has FORTY Christmas trees displayed for the season, so it should be quite spectacular, as the historic building alone is reported to be awesome. After the tour we are heading to Brew Link, just a short distance away for lunch. Parking is free at both sites.

So many super cute kids!

All of the elementary photos from the reunion have now been uploaded into our Photo Gallery. If you missed out on sending us your adorable class photo, it's not too late. Just click on the "Contact Us" tab to the left of this screen and send in photos of your class photos!  :-)

We did it!!!!! This Classmate Connections website will be up and running for the next TWO YEARS! Thanks to the generous donations of our classmates, we have been able to add more file vault storage to our site, as well as pay for an additional 2 years of service. The increased file vault storage will allow classmates to upload more photos, as some had to be deleted to make room for the reunion photos. That problem is now solved. Many thanks to Sue Bell Stokes, Debbie DeArmond Benjamin, David Fleck, Karen French, Tom Gillespie, Denise Hogard Boyles, David Nicodemus, Julie Radkovic, Bernie Rejko Miller, Leslie Samuels Entsminger, and Rex Smith for their donations, which will enable us to all stay connected for quite some time.

If you want to donate towards the effort to keep classmates in touch, you may do so in two ways. One is via the “Donations” tab at the left of the Classmate Connections screen, where you can enter any amount you wish to donate. The second is the “Keep It Rolling 50 Years Later” tab, also at the left of the website screen. This “event” is set up to receive donations in increments of $10.  Both options accept credit cards, mailed checks, and new to the site is Zelle, which I believe can be accessed with my email address of TEmardCampbell@gmail.com.

Brought to you by Thea's Harebrained Promotional Schemes are Diana Ross and One Republic. Enjoy!

"Celebrate Me Home"
Home for the holidays, I believe I've missed each and every face,
Come on and play my music, Let's turn on every love light in the place
It's time I found myself, Totally surrounded in your circles, Whoa, my friends
Please, celebrate me home, Give me a number,
Please, celebrate me home, Play me one more song, That I'll always remember,
And I can recall, Whenever I find myself too all alone, I can sing me home.

Are you a classmate that lives out of town and would like to see some friendly faces when you come to Indy? I have the solution for you! "Celebrate Me Home" is a song you may know by Kenny Loggins and it is the name of future events sponsored by our new website, “Classmate Connections” and it’s PR department,  “Thea's Harebrained Promotional Schemes". During my 40 years in Southern California, when I heard that song, it reminded me of Indiana. There were times that I returned and saw family exclusively, when it might have been nice to see some classmates, but I had long ago lost touch with most of those smiling faces.

If you are coming to Indy from far away lands and you would like to see classmates, simply click on the Contact Us tab on the left of this screen. Let me know the dates you will be here and if you'd like to invite all classmates available or if you would like for me to invite specific classmates on the Class Creator website. We can pick a place/time that works for you and I will send out the emails. If we have more than one classmate coming to town at a certain time, we can combine celebrations. I will then add a “Celebrate Me Home Event, Mary Smith” to the site and classmates will be notified of the time and place. These will be free events where everyone will be kindly asked to cover their own bill, so we can all enjoy the evening stress-free!

If you have followed a road less traveled, I hope one day we can, Celebrate You Home!
