George Joseph "Joe" Baker 54, passed away December 13, 2010, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Joe was born September 17, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana to George "Dick" Baker and Roberta Rosner Baker. Joe graduated from Lawrence Central High School and attended Indiana University. He was an Eagle Scout and played the bass drum in the Boy Scout Band. He was a florist most of his life training as a young boy in the family florist shop, Flowers by Dick Baker, and was owner of Roses and Lollipops in Broad Ripple for twenty years and presently owns Joey B's Flowers. Joe and his wife Dian shared a passion for cooking and organic gardening. Through the years, friends of all ages especially enjoyed Joe's garden railroad, which took up a full fourth of their front yard the excitement of which they were always willing to share. He is survived by his wife Diana Hutchison Baker, his mother, Roberta Baker, sisters, Kathleen Perrine (John), Sue Ellen Larrimore (James), Vicki Lynn Richardson (Ken) and Marti Dickerson (Glenn). He also has a special nephew, David Baker and many nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held.
