Obituary for Carol Ann Reason

Carol Ann Layman Reason left this life on October 10, 2012 at Community Hospital unexpectedly. She was born on June 1, 1957 in Anderson to Norman Layman and Sally Marie Worley Layman. Carol was in the health care industry for 20 years in Indiana and Texas, and the restaurant business and most recently took a disability from Bob Evans in Anderson. Carol graduated from Lawrence High School. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 266 in Anderson and also a member of the Veterans of Madison County. Carol is survived by 2 children: Justin Reason and Aaron Reason both of Anderson. Granddaughter: Kinley Ann Reason. Brothers; Gail Darlene Layman, David Cindy Layman of Anderson, Roger Katie Hunt of Lapel, Darrell Brenda Hunt and Jack Hunt of Lubbock, TX. Sisters: Melodee Bill Perkins Darr and Cheryl Fippen both of Anderson and Cindy DeWayne Whelchel of San Antonio, TX. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reason, parents: Sally Hunt and Norman Layman; and brother, Terry Hunt. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 5:00pm - 6:00 pm at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, Indiana. Services will be at 6:00 pm, Friday, October 12, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Jamie Woodyard officiating. Cremation will take place.
