Jill Sue Meltzer, beloved daughter of John H. and Eleanor E. (James) Meltzer, entered this life November 25, 1956 and entered eternal life August 1, 2022.
She was a 1975 graduate of Lawrence Central High School and earned an associate degree from Ball State University. She began her work career in the Federal government and retired after 35 years of service in a variety of agencies and holding positions with increased responsibilities.
Jill was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and enjoyed being a "behind the scene" participant. She loved reading, crafting and playing cards.
Those left to cherish Jill's memory are siblings, John H. Jr., Martin (Sharon), and Michael; nephews, William, Andrew (Lynette), and Evan; niece, Kathleen (Jarrad); great-niece, Ava; and several cousins. Preceding Jill in eternal life are her parents, listed above; and sister, Mollie.
A Witness to the Resurrection will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions are made to the church at Faith Presbyterian Church, 8170 Hague Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46256.
