Gary D. Shelley, 23, the grandson of area resident, Frank Bongen, died in Indianapolis on January 30, 1981.  Born in Quebec, he lived most of his life in Indianapolis and was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School.  He was employed as a framer for Sears Construction Company and was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Surviving are parents, Arthur and Mary Bongen Shelley of Indianapolis; and one sister, Mrs. Rolonda K. Cole, also of Indianapolis.
