Louann E. (Shriver) Allison Obituary

Mrs. Louann E. (Shriver) Allison, 47, of 953 Ash St., Johnstown, PA died at 12:40 A.M., Thursday, August 5, 2004 in the Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born July 26, 1957 in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of Mrs. Ida L. “Lou” Shriver and the late Robert J. “Jim” Shriver. She lived her early life in Cincinnati. She graduated from Lawrence Central High School, Indianapolis, IN with the class of 1975 and then attended business college in Indianapolis. She and her husband, Mr. Gerald L. “Jerry” Allison, were married on July 16, 1983 in Johnstown, PA. They moved to their present residence in 1996. Mrs. Allison was the co-founder of the Blind Squirrels Bowling League and served as treasurer and secretary. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by one son, Jason David James Allison of Johnstown. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public viewing. Memorial contributions may be made to: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Western Pennsylvania Chapter, 960 Penn Avenue, #1000, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Cumberland Valley Crematorium, Waynesboro, PA was in charge of the arrangements.
