BYRON JEROME WYNN
March 31, 1957 – December 6, 2008

Byron Jerome Wynn was born on March 31, 1957 in Suffolk, Virginia to William Earl Wynn and the late Juanita Wynn Williams.

Byron spent his formative years in both Las Vegas, Nevada and Indianapolis, Indiana, graduating from Lawrence Central High School (Indianapolis) in 1976. An exceptional athlete, Byron excelled at swimming and basketball. But it was his love for basketball that would earn him recognition and later a scholarship to attend college. He received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA in 1980. He began his career with AIG in 1991.

He is survived by Virginia McCoy Wynn and his stepson, Everett. He is also survived by one brother, Kelvin (Shari) of Peoria, Illinois; one sister, Renell Wynn Franklin of Williamsburg, Virginia; one half brother, Anthony (Katrina) Gamble of Fayetteville, South Carolina; and three half sisters, Pamela Armstrong of Jessup, Maryland, Carol (Louis) Brown of Greenbelt, Maryland, and Hope Wynn of Indianapolis, Indiana.

He also survived by one uncle, Bruce (Betty) McLeod of Las Vegas, Nevada and one aunt, Mildred (Samuel) McLeod Hylton of St. Louis, Missouri. He has one nephew, Bryant William Brown; several nieces, Dale Gamble, Christy Gamble, Misty Gamble, Ariona Anderson, Nia Brown, and Asha Brown; and numerous cousins.
