REUNION INFORMATION
CELEBRATE 50+ YEARS SINCE GRADUATION
AND 70 +/- YEARS SINCE WE STARTED THIS LIFE JOURNEY!
The reunion and birthday celebration starts on Friday night, June 10, with an informal meet and greet at the home of our classmate Dr. Woodrow Myers and his wife Stacy. There will be no charge, and attendance is restricted to those who have registered for the Saturday evening reunion,. The next day the SHS Alumni Association will host its annual meeting and luncheon and Shortridge Hall of Fame Ceremony where our classmate Bartram Brown will be honored and our class gift of over $7,000 (thanks to your contributions!) for scholarships will be noted. The meeting will be held at Caleb Mills Auditorium in Shortridge, followed by tours of SHS today.
And finally, the big party at the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library will take place on Saturday night, June 11, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. where there will be hors d'oeuvres and music and lots of fun! The Museum is located at 543 Indiana Avenue in the heart of an amazing new cultural district in downtown Indianapolis. The charge is only $50. and there will be no fee for those who paid to attend before the pandemic put us on hold. So come all ye great Blue Devils and bring your significant others and friends to help us celebrate!
