I am so sad today to learn of Cheryl's passing. She was a great friend of mine all through school, K though 12.  I have wonderful memories of all the things we did together. The last time I saw her was at my sister's house in CA, 20 years ago. She was the same, full of life and very kind.

Cheryl and I were also friends and band mates . . . We reconnected when she lived in Iowa City and I sang for her wedding at the Iowa City Universalist Church where I had the chance to catch up with her family... a beautiful and motivated woman!

How very sad and a shock!!  I had just reconnected with her on Facebook and she was talking about coming back for our next reunion!!!  Have great memories of our fun together during our school years and spending time at her house and her family.  Rest in peace Cheryl...

I do remember Cheryl Van Clark. I only knew her when I was in Indianola, having moved there from Panama Canal Zone in the 60s but she was one of my classmates. I have fond memories of her and I am sorry to here of her passing. I looked through the list and read the names of those who went before us. We will all take our turn some day. We are the lucky ones...so far. Blessings to everyone. Susanna Laird Madden, Tampa, Florida PS I still have the same yellowhead Amazon parrot I had then. He is 54 years old now. I am on Facebook as Susanna Madden
