Hi,
After completing MD in 1994,I joined Escorts Hosptial,Faridabad for a year.Then completed DM in cardiology from BHU in 1998 and Joined Escorts Heart Institute,New Delhi.Got deputed at Norvic International Hospital,Kathmandu,Nepal in Dec 1998.Came here for three months and working here since then !.Got the first cardiac cathlab of country in year 2000.Doing all coronary works including primary PCI here.Presenting many data and papers in many international journals and conferences all over the world.Wife Anjali is a pharmacist but works as Management Representative in the same hospital for ISO accredition.Currently we r enjoying the work and the love and respect by the local Nepalese people.Two kids are studying in Hostel at DC,Indore.Parents also living in Indore.Papa,Dr.K.S.Rawat continuing his research in Possibility of life after death.
Of late,I am keen to take up social responsibilities.Currently trying to learn and spread the methods of healthy and stress free living.Trying to achieve bliss and freedom by devloping a regular communication and friendship with oneself!.What is an optimal balance between the outer illusion and the inner reallity ?.Also wonder about issues like "luck factor", "social justice" and "social responsibilities ".

MGM was a great time....suddenly from a usual 30 to 40 students classes we were like 150 students !.first few years just went pretty much passive.But once in groove,it was fun.Smaller groups were made and there was interaction.Liked to know few people more closely than others.The science projects,debate and chess competitions were fun.Clinical postings and later night duties in MYH was a great time.Teachers like Dr Bharrani,Dr B.S.Yadav and Dr Puranik were very impressive.Later enjoyed taking clinical classes of juniors.The story of the efforts for getting rid of rats is so much in memories !.Feels bad when read about deterioration of MGM now.Hope the bright past of MGM will be back again soon !.
