We have all been deputized!  Your task, bring in as many of the "Interlachen Class of 1980" as possible.  I know this is a daunting task and depending on the student... It could get down right dangerous with people like Jarvis Guthrie, Mike Shaver, John Warner, Laura Johnson and Annette Schuler on the run.  So be careful, keep your eyes peeled, ears open and the rest of your senses on high alert.  We have many mates to track down and bring into the reunion big house.

Classmates whose whereabouts are unkown  are listed on our website.  The database can be viewed via a link on the left hand side, " Missing Classmates ".  The "Classmate Profile" header page lists those who have indicated they are attending by way of our website.   However, I am aware of some classmates who have indicated they will attend, but they have yet to login to our website, see below.

An excellent message and great start on the search for our classmates.  I will admit I have fallen down on some of my duties and now that you have expose me I am going to have to step up to the plate!!

Several folks have been found who have not yet logged into our wonderful site.  There is a way I can truly separate the missing from the found.  I promise this weekend to get our lists updated so we know who we have.

I have been working the classmates.com angle and would so appreciate anyone else who can help with this.  I have begun sending individual emails to everyone in an attempt to lure them to our webpage.  I have also been torturing the facebook group to get them to log in and sign up.  Please continue with the campaign. And to the rest of you, please help us rally everyone. 

Encourage folks to join this site even if they don't plan to come to the reunion.  This is for our class.  The reunion is just part of it. 

In deference to those not interested, we will miss you and hope you change your mind.

I've been like a FB stalker and snooping into friends lists.  Hopefully we can rally more of the troops.  Some people just like to wait to the last minute.

You go girl! I thought I was the only FB snooper looking for those lost IHS'ers.  Between all of us, we'll find them.   I see a lot of our class checking out Classmates.com too so some will find us from there.    WIth Tony on the hunt, they can run but.........they can't hide!

Well, we are making some progress.  As you may have noticed Jack Reid and Vicki Smith joined us!  I have talked with Jarvis, he told me he is attending the big event.  No word yet on whether he is guilty of pushing Mrs. Shepard into the closet back in 7th grade.  However, he did put me in contact with Al Williams and Thomas Monroe.  They are also planning to join us for the bash.  Thomas thinks he can get in touch with a few other classmates.

The scent has gone cold for Mike Shaver and John Warner, any ideas?

I sent John Warner an email though Classmates.com.  It looks like he was last on classmates in February so hopefully, he'll respond.  I sent him the link to our site.  I think he may be in Dallas.  I saw that Cullie Queen also jumped on classmates so I shot an email to him too.  Dee Dee has been stalking classmates.com too.  Between us all...........we'll find 'em!!  

Still on the hunt for Lynn Mayo, Laura Johnson, Rodney Hall, Tonda Bevington, Ginger Gainous and the list goes on......................

     I sent Cullie and John email through Classmates.com as well.  No response from either yet.  If anyone has an idea what city and state Cullie, John, Mike S. or any of our other lost souls lives, I can look for them via an online people search.  I once did a google phone book search on Mike Shaver, about 20 numbers came up from all over the country.  I called everyone of them but, I had no luck.  Another problem is that I do not know Mike's middle name.

     Al Williams (Big Al) is going to get in touch with Annette Shuler's mom, she should know where her daughter is hiding.

     Spoke With Thomas Monroe last night he is in North Carolina on active duty reserve with the USMC.  He plans to attend and is going to get in touch with Thomas Young.

     If we keep this up, we will at least contact all of our classmates!

Hey everyone!

I separated the classmates list by what I believe to be who we have found and who we have not.  If there is someone on the found list who you want to get in touch with, let me know and I will get ou the info.

We are so on the way to finding our great class.  So far, 36 have signed up and 29 are attending the reunion.  I am going to send something out to the list tomorrow.

I am soooo excited to see our class come together.  We are going to have a wonderful time!!

A couple of weeks ago I sent a private message on FB to Denise Warner for John with the link information but so far no response.  This is Denise's email address from FB, if someone else wants to send her an email so I don't seem like a stalker.  LOL! dwunderwriter@hotmail.com  It doesn't look like John is on FB but they have a son named John who is.  Wow I do sound like a stalker.

Also Joe Archer, Cornelius, Susan Clay and Margo Cook are on FB so I'll send them a message.  Mitch Stanley use to be on there but he got off a few months ago.  I think he is in San Diego or somewhere close to there.

I agree we are making great progress.  I think this is going to be bigger then the 10 year!

     My sister spoke with Cornelius's dad.  He told her that he is in South Korea so facebook is probably the best way to contact him.

     I don't have a facebook or myspace account, as I tell my wife, I refuse to create a shrine to myself.  However, I'll risk stalker status and email Denise.

     Has anyone had any luck with Mike Beaker Shaver?  Based on Steve's suggestion that his middle name is Alan, I called a couple of numbers listed under Michael A. Shaver, but came up empty handed.

     By the way, who gave him the nickname Beaker?

Nickname "beaker" I don't recall who coined the phrase.  He had a younger brother(1 year I think) named John, or Jon.  I remember he tried to come somewhere from mid to south Florida to attend the 10th reunion.  That may help.  "USA People Search" lists all cities someone resided based on phone listing, electric utility or home purchase I believe.  It also lists relatives(sometimes).  Hopes this helps. 

There is a number for Michael A. Shaver listed under two addresses in FL, Saint Cloud, FL 34769 and Ocoee, FL 34761 the number is 404-348-2297.  It is no longer in service.

My wife found two addresses for Jon Shaver, Rr 3 POB 3675, Melrose, FL 32666 and 7526 Appomattox Ave, Keystone Hgts, FL 32656.  Phone number (352) 473-1098.  I dialed the phone number, it's out of service.  I am going to send invitation letters to the addresses.  If I don't get a response, maybe James can do a "knock knock drive by"?  Now we are really stalking!

Hey,  I'm a very good stalker.....that's how I've been finding people.  Does anyone know Beakers Mother's name ? or where they lived ?  He has been one of the hardest to locate.  Also, Carol has (or should have) a spreadsheet of everyone contacted...there are several that have been contacted but have not registered yet.  Hopefully Carol will get us an up-dated list to use so we are not chasing our own tails and wasting resources on folks that have been found. You guys are doing a great job, so don't stop. I had a lead on Karen Kirkland (Lafrantz) but the phone # recently changed.  I can't find a # to the Mace's in Interlachen for Lynn Mace, I think her Dad was in the septic tank service.

I spoke with Burnell Thomas today.  He is living in Gainesville and says he plans to attend the reunion.  I also gave him our website information so look for him to create a profile soon.

I also had a long conversation with Valerie Sung (Prevost).  She is living in Gainesville as well. She has a little Valerie named Jasmine, she is 11 years old.  Valerie is undecided about attending the reunion, hopefully she will come around and make a commitment to attend.  I'll do my best to talk her into it.  She has turned out to be a wonderful lady, I would hate to miss an opportunity to see her.

Like Carol, I get so excited when I see a new classmate has registered :)... I will get back to stalking soon....Funny!!!   I have a great free site...Pipl.com   Try it, just type in a name and what area you think they live in when they where attending IHS (Interlachen, Florahome, Hollister, Hawthorne, Melrose, Johnson etc)...After you enter, a lot of sites are on one page....some want you to pay, but apprx 90 % are free....just tinker around with it...I have found several classmates using this site... Face Book is also great.

Did Virginia Gainous have a brother named William?  There's a William Gainous on FB who is friends with Sherry Morrison and Ruby Waldron.

I'm also trying to pass a message to Jerry Rosacia.  I've been in contact with his brother Roy, but he has pulled off FB so I sent him an email.

I may have a lead on Loretta Woods through her cousin.

No word from John Warner or Cullie.  I have been in touch with Linda Sweeting through FB and emailed her the link to our site.  Yes, Ginger Gainous had a brother named William.  I think he is a couple years younger, maybe my sister's age.  

The last I heard of Jerry Rosacia, he was living in Jax.  He was married to Becky Barnes but I don't think they are married any longer. 

We keep FB'ing and I know we'll find 'em all!
