In Memory

Maribeth Dagget (Tipton)

Maribeth Dagget (Tipton)

Maribeth was not deceased when this was first posted (2009?), but in a nursing home.

It was about 12 years ago, (1997?), Maribeth suffered a tragedy that left her with brain damage.  They say she has the mind of a happy 8 year old.  She probably doesn't remember anyone, but does remember old songs.

Sharing your memories of Maribeth below is very appreciated.

UPDATE:  Maribeth passed on 23-Jan-2018 and her service is scheduled for 27-Jan.

Robert Worcester and Gail Conder Wells and I went to visit Maribeth yesterday.  We think she might have remembered us, not exactly sure.  But it was a nice visit, and we will be going back.

We had a good visit with Maribeth.  It sure did brighten her day when we whipped out the Lair and everyone learned how beautiful she was 40 years ago.  Of course we reminded her that she's still beautiful to us.

I hope we can make regular visits and we all hope you can find some time to join us.  Maribeth said she would enjoy it if we brought friends with us.

Maribeth,

I'll always remember your smile and I always thought you were and are so beautiful inside and out.

I would love to come see you one day if Robert W. would drop me a line as to when they will visit you.

Love you always,

Carlos

Maribeth, I learned of your passing today and was saddened that for many years you had to live in a home.  You were such a sweet person in high school and I will always remember your kindness.  You were such a beautiful person on the inside as well as the outside.  Rest in peace.

What a sweetheart she was.  I visited her a few years ago and it was sad to see her there, but she seemed to be happy with her situation.  That is all that really matters.  She did not remember much about IHS but seemed to enjoy a visit from someone who was a "stranger" to her...
