The football team was sitting in a cramped locker room in the gym at Bowie Junior High waiting to walk across the parking lot to the stadium to play MacArthur in the last game of the 1970 season. Suddenly, through the high locker windows, we could hear the Toy Tigers singing to us. Not a word was said in the locker - just the singing of our girls. We went out and beat MacArthur that night.
