RODGER’S STORY

Rodger Arndt (1964 - 2012) was born and raised in Issaquah, WA. Throughout his life he was active, outgoing and optimistic, as well as a loyal friend and family member. He was also a great planner for every area of life and every contingency – except cancer.

In June 2011 at age 47, Rodger was diagnosed with advanced metastatic prostate cancer. A PET scan which, in Rodger’s words, "lit up like a Christmas tree," showed that the cancer had spread to multiple places in his bones. He faced stage 4 cancer with courage, dignity and unfailing optimism, even after both hormone and chemo therapy failed. Rodger’s Fight Against Prostate Cancer was formed to help find a cure for the disease.
