I went to MSU and studied Foreign Language Education and English. I met my husband at State and we married after I graduated. At that time, he was working in New Orleans, so I joined him there and taught 7-11th grade Spanish at an all-boys Catholic prep school. We moved to The Woodlands, TX (an hour north of Houston) with Michael's job, the year before Katrina. I taught junior high Language Arts and worked for Maersk (A Danish shipping company), as a customer service representative to the US Military. I am currently a stay-at-home mom with my son, Zachary (10 months), and in my “spare time” I am working towards writing children’s books.
