Greetings, Classes of 1977 and Class of 1978!

It's not long now until our combined 39th and 40th Jackson High School class reunions on July 22, 2017. For those who weren't involved in early Facebook discussion, we decided to combine the classes in order to take advantage of David and Lisa Ringkob's generous offer to host some of the festivities on their farm.

And so festivities will begin at David and Lisa’s farm located at 59341 860th Street, Alpha, MN 56111. We'll have yard games, laughter and relaxation beginning at 3:00 p.m. This is sort of a pre-dinner potluck, so please BYOB and some snacks to share. Also bring blankets or chairs if you can, your favorite games and anything else you want to share (like photos and stories both old and new).

Anytime after 5:30 p.m. we'll move the party to the Horse Barn and Hunt Club in Lakefield for dinner (46421 860th St, Lakefield, MN 56150), about 10 minutes from Dave and Lisa’s farm. For $20 per person (payable online on this site, by check or at the door):

• Beer and wine are available for sale at the Horse Barn and Hunt Club. Guests also are welcome to bring in their own wine or liquor.
• Dinner will be pork loin, turkey, salad, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans and dinner roll. Working on bringing in a dessert, so let us know if you have ideas. (Ben and Lynda – are you bringing birthday cakes? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.)
• They have a sound system (so bring your ‘70s tunes, Jerry!)
• Their indoor/outdoor facilities can handle any weather

The Horse Barn and Hunt Club opens at 5:30, so if you'd like to go there directly, you're welcome -- but we'd love to see you at Dave and Lisa's if you can make that happen. We can't give you a firm time when dinner will be served.

I think Ben Winrich was wondering if anyone is interested in a golf game earlier in the day, so contact him (via Facebook) if you want to be included in that.
