Joy was a very smart outgoing young lady.   Joy was way ahead of our era as far as Fashion was concerned. She could type  like no other and did very well in all her business courses. After graduating from Fletcher she attended FAMU and after receiving her degree , she was a business teacher at Jones College.   She was a member of Delta Sorority. She Married Stan Mason and moved to Washington, DC.  She returned to Jacksonville and remained here until her death.  Sandra Davis and myself ( Sylvia Jones Martin) would visit and talk with her often before her death and she was very upbeat and positive until the end.
