John Scott, known to us in the neighborhood as TJ was a very close friend of mine. I considered his mother to be my godmother.  Alma "Scottsie" as we lovingly called her was a part of the family business ( Tony's Seafood shack).  I grew up with TJ along with his older brother Steve Scott.  TJ and I were partners at graduation.  He was a quiet and very nice young man. I really miss him a lot.
