Debra Jo Spottswood, 61, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2014. Debra was born in Jacksonville, FL on February 14, 1952 and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Wolfson Senior High School Class of 1970, shortly thereafter she married John Gordon Spottswood III on June 10, 1971. Debra is survived by her husband and two sons, John Gordon Spottswood IV (Caroline) and Justin Shane Spottswood (Ana). She has three amazing grandkids: Ascher Justin Spottswood, Kaden Shane Spottswood and Emily Anne Spottswood. Survivors also include her two sisters, Stephanie Coursey and Francis Murphey (Rick) and her brother, Brewer Barkley (Lynda) as well as many nephews, a niece, and a grandniece. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16 from 1-4 p.m. at Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Avenue. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 17 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Evergreen Cemetery.
