Erratum--Garfunkel should read Garfinkel.

I'm saddened to hear of the passing of Susie! We were in several classes together including Modern Family Living learning to sew! We teamed up and made a blouse/ shirt together for a project ! I know she will be missed by many and heaven has gained another Angel ! My condolences to her family and her friends !

A sad day for me to find out that Susie has passed. What a beautiful soul. I was lucky to know Susie since grade school through our church days @ South Jacksonville Presbyterian. She was a special person in a lot of lives, with so many friends and family. A shining star! When my father passed, Susie sent me a personal note expressing her sympathy. I will never forget that. Small acts of kindness were her specialty! Rest peacefully, Susie. Your eternal home will be a brighter place with your arrival.

Susie was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. She was kind to everyone no matter if you were Class President or the shy, unseen, unheard person that tried to be invisible. Besides being in some of her classes she also taught my two of my children. She was a sunny flower on this earth that made it more beautiful. Prayers to her family !

She was known by so many of us, always remember her true and sweet smile....her Christ like nature.

And reading the comments of you before me touched me and I am in full agreement....except for you Frieda.  I know what you are saying but I'll just say, from another or our class, I was so glad to know you and Michael through those years and was so sad to hear from you when he passed.  He did well for himself from a difficult and "silent" past as you put it.

God knows us all!   To all you who were so kind to take the time to comment, thank you.....it touches so many of us to be reminded of our mortality and think to be ready to kneel before our Lord one day.

I am so sorry to hear of Susie’s passing.  She was a good friend, a good listener with one of the kindest of hearts.  Her smile was contagious and genuine, and she brought sunshine with her wherever she went.  Susie made the world a better place.  I am thankful to have known her.

I was so sad to hear about Susie!  She was such a kind person, to everybody.  We became friends early on through our Youth Group at South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church and through our time at Landon together, where we were both on the Landonian (Yearbook) Staff.  We went to summer camp together at age 14 outside of Chattanooga, TN at Hidden Valley for 4 weeks.  We helped each other through any home sickness we might have had and shared a great time and experience together.  She was a star back then in our End of the Session camp play.  We remained friends throughout our years at Wolfson and we couldn't have had anybody more deserving as our Miss Wolfson than Susie.  My prayers will go out to her family during this time.

Susie was the best: kind, beautiful, generous with her time and friendship.  We went to Landon together and then Wolfson. She will always be Miss Wolfson in our hearts  deepest sympathy to her family and her many friends.
