Terry was one of my best friends during and after high school. He got me a job @ JU my senior year in the landscape dept. Talk about a wild time. We lost touch after he moved to work in the middle east. He had a laugh I will always remember. We would ride around in his white volvo listening to tunes and partying like there was no tomorrow. I also remember when the Vietnam conflict was finally over, Terry, myself and several others were down by the powerlines along the St.Johns river.

Being the rebels we thought we were, we burned our selective service cards. This was a big deal to us. The thought of the draft lottery being reinstated was in the back of many of our minds. Your now in good hands big guy. Peace!

Terry and I were neighbors throughout high school and we shared a lot of growing up through those years  We put a lot of miles on his trusty Volvo, especially down Fort Caroline Road to Colony Cove and beyond and many late night partys with a couple of six packs and canned oysters by the river. Eventually Terry's dad moved the family to the middle east to do construction which was very lucrative at the time and we didn't stay in touch as much when he got back.  Terry was a great friend to grow up with and I will miss him.

I had no idea that Terry had left us.  We were good friends, and had some great times. If only I could tell you what we did on Graduation Day.  In our senior year, we had a graphic arts 1 class with Mr. Goldsbury.  Being the only seniors in the class, Mr. Goldsbury would always let us leave class halfway through, and we would go, in that Volvo, to the 7-Eleven for a burrito and a beer.  I sure wish I would have known.
