Well, after graduating and having the privilege to go to Italy...I came back home and had a SEVERE reality check. The Lord TOTALLY changed my heart and direction. I tried the college thing-but it was not my desire at all-but after taking one painting class, I was hooked, then I took a drawing and a design class as well...then it all began. The Lord started blessing me with inspiration to paint and that was all I did for a while. In the meantime, I worked random jobs which, funny, they all prepared me for the next job following...that is how the Lord is-He always prepares you in advance. I started a job with a gourmet market as front end manager-which lead to assistant chef-which lead to managing the entire little restaurant. Wonderful, loved it. Then I became a nannie for a while-and then-the Lord brought my "Soul Mate"-literally...I am so blessed-Damascus Lee Ellison and I eloped October 29, 2005-we had our precious beautiful little girl Salah Hope April 4, 2008-and we are pregnant again with Kadesh! So Blessed! My husband is a handsome and amazingly talented singer/songwriter/musician. We have a lawn company and I am, thankfully, a housewife-which is more involved and exhausting than anything I have ever done in my life-but worth every minute. I love the life the Lord has graciously given me and awestruck that this was His plan from the begining.
