After graduating, I went to Pensacola Christian College to study Music & Theatre. I took a "semester off" at the end of my sophomore year, met Mark (when he hired me), and never quite made it back to school full-time. I went for a short time to SJRCC, but was working full-time as an assistant manager for Domino's Pizza.
When Mark and I were married, I began working at Southtrust Bank and stayed there until Kaiya was almost a year old. I was a stay-at-home mom for 4 1/2 years, before accepting a job at Merrill Lynch. I left Merrill this past June to come home.
I am currently a Future Director with the Pampered Chef, I homeschool my kids, and I am involved in a performance group called Orange Park Chorale - as a singing member and a member of the board of directors. (I am also the Children's Choir director & the Awana T&T director at my church. Can you say busy???)
Mark worked for a local Domino's Pizza franchise for over 13 years, and was an area supervisor overseeing 9 units. After my older brother, Paul, passed away on March 30, 2006, Mark decided he wanted to spend more time with the family. He began working at Merrill Lynch in November, and he is still there. Mark is also the Awana Commander at our church.
We have three beautiful, crazy kids. Kaiya is 6 going on 26, and is determined to be a performer like her Aunt Kristin. Juke is almost 4, and Cade Paul (our surprise) is 2 1/2. The boys are into sports and super heroes, and are always getting into something.
I am planning to return to school this fall at FCCJ to get my AA before transfering to a 4 year school for a degree in Musical Theatre. It's never too late to finish, right? =) Mark is also in the planning stages of a restaurant concept. He plans within the next two years to open his restaurant, which will most likely include a move out of state.
I think I remember a water gun fight in the hotel on Senior trip. I also remember being completely surprised that Mr. Kinder and Mr. Warren let the guys and girls in each other's rooms to watch a movie... Good times...
Honors English - no particular memory, but that whole class was a hoot.
Joe doing the worm at graduation, of course, is a highlight.
Since I was only there senior year, most of my memories are off campus... breakfasts at Famous Amos with Stephen, Dusty, Nina, and Rebekah, Paul Betz' parties (his current ones are better) =), all of VIP watching out Mrs. Vaughan's front window as I got a goodnight kiss from someone who shall remain nameless...
