OBITUARY

John R. Booth, Chaplain Major, Ret. USAF, passed away Sunday August 11 with his children by his side. He is survived by his brother David Booth; son Paul (wife Brandy) and daughter Jennifer (partner Keith); grandchildren Hunter Booth (wife Savannah), Ethan Hey, Madison Whitaker (husband Christopher), Cade Booth, Harper Booth; and great grandchildren Luke and Jett Whitaker, and Hadley Booth.

As a Chaplain in the Air Force, John had the privilege of being stationed all over the United States and Europe. John joined the Air Force as an officer in North Carolina. He was then stationed in Texas, Alaska, Florida, Spain, Germany, and retired after 20 years in Nevada.

After retiring from the military, John found a new career with a private education system focused on special needs education.

John enjoyed traveling, going out to eat and spending time with his friends and family. John touched many lives in the Nashville area, as he never met a stranger. He will be loved and missed by many
