Janice Candeto Dubose, 67,

passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015.

She was born October 10, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Frank & Lila Candeto. Janice was a graduate of Andrew Jackson class of 1965, retired from Prudential Insurance Company as a Community Affairs Assistant and was a full time organist/pianist for North Shore Christian Church. After retirement, she was also an office administrator, volunteer pianist and Christmas choir director at Encounter Christian Church. Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Elkin; sons, Jason Hamilton (Sherri), Jacob Hamilton (Cassandra); daughters, Lesley Frenz (George), Melissa Strozewski (Tony), Stephanie Gaskill (Nick), Susan Brooks (Robert); brother, Joe Candeto (Vickie); 8 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1 at 12PM at Encounter Christian Church, 2311 Starratt Road, Jacksonville 32218, with Rev. David Mackie and Rev. Allan McMillan officiating. Interment will follow at 2pm in Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 10am at the church.
