FALANY “Tinker” William F. Falany, 59, died on Thursday (Feb. 9) in his sleep at his home. Tinker retired from Anheiser Busch after 35 years of service. He was a life long resident of Jacksonville, grew up in Fairfield and resided on the Northside most of his adult life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Martine Falany, his brother, Robert C. Falany, Jr., his eldest son, William Fredrick Falany, Jr. and the mother of his children, Sue Horton Swafford. He leaves to cherish his memories, a son, Scott Alan Falany, daughter-in-law, Shana Kaye Falany, two grandchildren, Alana Kaye and Breona Sue Falany, two sisters, Shirley Hart and Toni Simonton, a brother, Chuck McKenzie, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 17th at 2 PM in Eternity Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Weeks of C3 JAX officiating.
