HUGHES Funeral services for Etta Jane Hughes, 54, who passed away Saturday, December 15, 2001, will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, December 20, 2001 in the Chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home with Rev. Nick Phoenix officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM till 8:00PM Wednesday (today) at the Funeral Home. Born December 17, 1946 in Mitchell County, GA, she has been a resident of Jacksonville for most of her life. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School; had originally became a hairstyle and was a supervisor for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Callahan. Preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry and Frank Nettles. Mrs. Hughes is survived by: her husband of 11 years, Ricky G. Hughes; 4 sisters, Julia Koivisto (Samuel), Frances Coffield (Dr. Kelly Coffield), Sandra Arnett (Tollie) and Beverly Canova (Don); 2 brothers, Roy and Fred Nettles (Marcie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
