I ran across Dennis in 'Nam in '68-'69. He was with the Security Police
with the Air Force. I'm not sure if it was DaNang or CamRanh Bay. I think he
probably made it through that time but DaNang's ammo dumps were blown shortly
after I left. I'll be interested to learn if he made it. (Source; Gerald "Jay" Coleman)
NOTE (replying to Jay Coleman): I searched the Viet Nam Casualty List today (8/23/2001) for both Denis Thomas Murphy and Dennis Thomas Murphy. Four Dennis Murphy's were shown: 2 with the name Robert Dennis Murphy, 1 with the name Dennis James Murphy and 1 with the name Dennis Gerard Murphy, but none with the Middle Name of Thomas. They were all killed, 3 by hostile forces and 1 by wounds suffered in battle. May they all Rest in Peace. - John Rutledge
