Murdered in the mid 1980's

(Source:  Sharon Elkins Clifton)  Wayne Freeman was murdered in the mid 1980's.  He traveled a lot for the company he worked for and had come back to Jacksonville for the weekend.  He checked in to the motel he was staying at and the maid found him the next morning.  He had been beaten to death.  Bill Yeldell who is now the pastor at Mandarin Baptist Church  conducted the funeral services and might be able to give you more details
