She was born May 6, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Joe & Ruby Chalker and had lived here all her life. Elaine was of the Baptist faith, was a graduate of Andrew Jackson class of 1965, was dearly loved and will be missed by all. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruby Jo Hightower. Survivors include her daughter, Gwen Iselin; sister, Rosemary Thigpen (Joe); grandchildren, Elana Iselin, Jena Iselin, Marissa Iselin; numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 3 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd 32218, with Dr. Terry Gore officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 10am at the funeral home, 714-1110.
