COMBS - James R. Combs, 52, died Sunday, December 7, 1997. Mr. Combs was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and had retired after 25 years in Civilian Service from Naval Air Station, Jacksonville (NARF). Survivors include his wife, Donna Combs; mother, Carrie Hoyle; one daughter and son-in-law, Yvette and Eric Bynum; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Pastor Sarai Kellam, officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home.
