DOUGLAS - Emmett ``Andy'' Douglas, 52, passed away February 17, 1999 at the Hadlow Center. Born in Panama City, Florida,. he was a Jacksonville resident most of his life. He was a math teacher fro 29 years last teaching at Paxon College Preparatory School but took an early retirement due to illness. Preceded in death by his father, Emmett Douglas, he is survived by his mother, Johnnie P. Douglas; fiance, Pamela Auth; and sister, Jo Ann Douglas. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM, February 20, 1999 in the Chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 4315 Main Street with Rev. Rick Crews officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Friday (today) at the funeral home.
