HANCOCK Lynnette Cheney Hancock, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015. She was born March 17, 1947 in Madison, FL to the late James and Jeannette Taylor Pope and had lived in Jacksonville for the past 68 years. Lynnette was of the Baptist faith and loved sewing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul E Hancock III. Survivors include her husband of over 47 years, Paul; son, Jon Hancock (Tracy); daughter in law, Betty Hancock; sisters, Priscilla Cheney and Patricia Carney; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; numerous other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 18, at 11am in the Northside Fellowship Church of the Nazarene, 10310 Lem Turner Road Jacksonville 32218, with Pastor David Franklin officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cancer Specialists of North Florida, 2 Shircliff Way Ste 800 Jacksonville, FL 32204.
