GIVENS On Friday, April 22, 2011 Lloyd F. Givens Jr. (known to most as Buddy ) of Keystone Heights, and a former resident of Jacksonville died after 63 years of life. The impossibly long list of those left grieving include his wife of 45 years Donna, daughter Lisa, son and daughter-in-law Timmy & Stacey, daughter & son-in-law Lacey & Logan. His sisters Marlene & Geraldine, 7 beautiful grandchildren who called him Pappy Dustin, Emily, Taylor, Sydni, Madison, Coy, and Emmaclaire and countless others called him Uncle Buddy or friend. A Past Master of Francis T. Hurlbert Lodge #259 in Jacksonville, and Melrose Lodge #89 in Keystone Heights, a member of Scottish Rite, Keystone Shrine Club, and Order of Eastern Star. He had worked for Tom Bush Volkswagen, and served his country in the United States Air Force, he was a leader and a companion. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 PM Friday, April 29, 2011 in George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206 where funeral services will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Tim Prose officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Military Honors, and Masonic Services conducted by his Masonic Brothers.
