Stephanie M. Reynolds (London)

 

LONDON Stephanie Reynolds London of Orange Park, died January 27, 2006, losing her long battle with heart disease and cancer. Born in Dothan, Alabama on December 27, 1946, she moved to Jacksonville in 1956. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School (1965) and the University of Florida (1970). During her working years she was employed by the Duval County School System as a Librarian. She also worked for the Mandarin Branch Public Library. During the past few years she volunteered at the Mandarin Library. She served two years as President of the Duval County Library Association. Stephanie was a member of The Orange Park Christian Women's Club, serving on its board in several capacities. She was a member of Lodge 2020, Loyal Order of the Moose. Stephanie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Mary R. Marine. She is survived by her husband, Gordon B. "Ben" London, a brother William Reynolds (Jolaine) of Dothan, Alabama, and a nephew William Reynolds, Jr. of Capitol Reef, Utah.She is also survived by a large family in Florida, Mississippi, Georgia and South Carolina. A special acknowledgement is extended to her cousin Elaine Morton and her husband Bob of Long Beach, Mississippi for their love and support. Stephanie is survived by Ben's large family. A special acknowledgement is extended to Ben's sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Bill Spear for their love and support. Stephanie is also survived by her "Sisters in Friendship," Elaine Townsend, Peggy Walker, Martha Crowe and Marty Davis. Heart felt appreciation is extended to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida for its guidance and loving care. The memory of Hospice's kindness will last a lifetime. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 6865 Pine Avenue (Fleming Island), Green Cove Springs, Florida 32043. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested for St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Vision on Fleming Campaign. Contributionswill be designated for the church's stain glass window fund.
