Died May 16, 2001.

(Information recorded by John Rutledge in class Access database):  Thanks to fellow Classmate, George Batts, we were told of the passing of fellow Classmate:

WIGGINS - Earl Benjamin Wiggins, Sr., passed away at his home Wednesday, May 16, 2001.

Mr. Wiggins was an employee of Duval County School Board for 35 years and was a member of the School Maintenance Employees and Associated Inc. Local #48. 

He also served on the Board of Directors and was Union Steward. 

He retired from Florida Army National Guard Signal Battalion Company A as an E5. 

Died of cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carrie Wiggins; his mother, Annette (William) Ford; children, Earl B. (Dena) Wiggins, Jr., Melissa Wiggins Turner, Dee Dee (Danny) Sykes, Lee Simpson and Angela Taylor; a sister, Glenda (Wadell) Foskey; a brother, James (Debbie) Wiggins; childrens grandmother, Nancy Robidoux; grandchildren, Tiffany Turner, Aaron Wiggins, Nate & Carly Krasowski and Daniel Sykes; nieces and nephews, Wadell, Jr., Patricia and Melinda; unconditional love; his dogs, Peaches, Hazel & Blackie. 

Masonic funeral services will be held 10AM Saturday, May 19, 2001, in the chapel of COREY KERLIN FUNERAL HOME 1426 Rowe Ave. 

Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery with full military honor.
