Wow.  This really hurts.  Eddie was a good friend and a really sweet guy.

I haven't seen Eddie since high school, but reading his obit indicates he remained focused on things that matter all his life. That's inspirational.

So sorry to hear. Eddie was a good family man,, and excellent reputation as a doctor. He was also a classmate  of mine in college majoring in both premed and business as I recall. So sorry for his untimely death.  Hearfelt condolences to his family. Ken Fink

I was very saddened to hear about Eddie.  He was a smart, funny, and kind kid who became an amazing adult.

Condolences to his family.

Bob Marsh is right.  Just reading Eddie's obit was truly inspirational! If you go online to Eddie's obit you can post a comment to share with his family.  I assume they can't access our school website to view what we are sharing with each other.  I had not had any contact with Eddie since high school.  I remember him being a very kind and humorous guy!  Wish I had had a chance to know him as an adult!  May he rest in piece.

Ditto to everything that's been said. Eddie was one of the good ones. This is a major loss not only to the Landon Class of 1963 but also to the entire Jacksonville community.

I've known Eddie since Kindergarten.  He was always warm, friendly, smart and an all around good person.   He must have been a wonderful and caring doctor.   He will be missed by all of us who grew up with him, went to school together, and worked with him.  Sincerest condolences to his family and to all of us who knew him.

Eddie lived what he believed and believed what he lived. From PreK through high school, Eddie and his family were a part of my life and my family's life. He followed his dreams and dedicated himself to his family, profession, and community. He lives on through the legacy of his wonderfully devoted wife, Judy, his children and grandchildren. Between my cousin Jack and Eddie, it's amazing that Mrs. McLaughlin made it through senior English with us!  Miss you guys!
