David Zaycek was always a good friend. He was considerate, thoughtful, and a lot of fun!
David was an Usher in our wedding in June 1966. We lost contact after that, and were shocked to hear of his untimely death in a swimming accident. We had also heard he’d enlisted and served time in Vietnam.
If any of our Classmates did stay in touch with David, or his family, I would like to hear from you.
David and I ran track together for coach Thoman. David was one of the fastest sprinters in the city and state. The Terry Parker track team won the state championship our senior year and had some great athletes and great young men. Dave was a great friend and teammate.
