10-Year Reunion

Mark you calendar for August 8 & 9, 2008 for a fun filled time to catch up with old friends and see what everyone has been up to!

Who: Anyone that is in town early
What: Dinner and drinks (on your own)
When: Friday, August 8, 2008; 7 pm until
Where: Marina Cafe - 110 S. Marine Blvd. Between the Ark and what used to be Fisherman's Wharf

Details: 

We will have a private room and depending on how many we have, our own bartender as well.  Remember you are responsible for your own food and beverage tab.  We had to narrow the menu down to a few choices (see below).  You can order when you arrive, but if you have an idea of what you might want before you come, please let me know so I can let the chef know (and make it easier on him).  Prices below are subject to change. 

 

ALSO – For $15.00 (payable that night) we can have a riverboat cruise after dinner.  It is 1 ½ hours long and is BYOB.  Either bring your own, or buy it at the Marina (but they have to charge bar prices!) If you are interested in this, I need to let the captain know!  We need 15 people for it to go.  Again, you will pay that night, but I need to know if you want to do it at least by July 30.  You can just send me an email (swhsclassof1998@gmail.com).

Your dinnner choices are:

Crab Melt - $7.49 – Seasoned crab meat Pate' topped with grilled slices of tomato and smothered in Swiss cheese.  Served on grilled Rye Bread.

Anchor Burger - $6.49 (add cheese for $.99) – A half pound of fresh ground beef, topped with tomato, lettuce, red onion, and mayo.  Served on a toasted sesame seed bun.

Grilled Chicken Sandwich -  $6.49 (add Blackened Seasoning for $.75) – Grilled or blackened chicken breast topped with tomato, lettuce, red onion, and mayo.  Served on a toasted sesame seed bun.

***All Burgers and sandwiches are served with French Fries and Pickle Spear.  Substitute Fries with Onion Rings for $.99.

Chicken or Shrimp Jambalaya - $11.99 – Either chunks of chicken breast or Broiled Shrimp with seasoned sausage, celery, okra, onions & peppers in a Hot-N-Spicy Creole sauce. Served around rice pilaf. – Marina Café House Specialty!

Chicken, Beef or Shrimp Fajitas - $11.99 – Chicken Strips, Marinated Beef, or seasoned shrimp grilled with read and green bell peppers and inions.  Served on a hot sizzling platter & topped with fresh lettuce, onion, olives, tomatoes, diced jalapenos and cheese.  Accompanied with three flour tortillas.  Sour Cream, salsa and guacamole upon request.

Seafood Platter - $14.49 - Fried Shrimp, Fried Flounder & Clam Strips with coleslaw, French fries and hushpuppies.

***For any vegetarians – they have a variety of salads you can order off the menu.

Where: Stratusphere Ballroom - Gum Branch Road, Jacksonville
Cost: $35 for singles and $55 for couples (This is $5 higher to cover online payment costs)

Dress is casual for both nights. Friday night is super casual as most of us will have either just gotten off work or been traveling that day. Saturday is dressy casual.
