After working in banking in Dallas, I graduated from Vanderbilt Law School. I practiced law in New York and Washington D.C. and clerked for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Did not like law so pursued a passion for fashion, working in New York for Elle Magazine, Women's Wear Daily and Saks Fifth Avenue. Fell for a Southern who brought me back to Atlanta where I was a freelance writer and worked for an interior designer. Moved to Birmingham to work for Southern Living where I was a Homes Editor for five years before taking my current position over two years ago within the same company. Entree is a custom publication for Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman customers, but I also work on Southern Accents as well. I have one son who will be five in October. I live in the historic neighborhood of Forest Park in Birmingham.
