To be perfectly candid, I believe the current level of partisan political debate is now turning us into a fragmented dysfunctional nation.  It paralyzes who we are!

Discussion and deliberation of issues are certainly in the national issues.  But making blunt inflamatory statements that are tantamount to character assassinations are not. This is exactly what strengthens al-Qaeda and the Taliban and our other enemies.

We grew up in the Era of Civil Rights.  Why have we gone soft on Civil Discussion?

Unless we shape up, we usher in the Last Rites on having a Civil Society.
