SENIOR CITIZENS...metabolize their food at a far different rate than youth.  And what we carelessly stuff into our stomachs can prove costly to our health and memory.

SALT is a prime villain.  It assaults our circulation.  High blood pressure often results and this in turn sometimes leads to a stroke or heart attack.

FRIED FOODS induce Cholesterol.  Caking our arteries can likewise lead to problems with our cardiac system.

HEAVY CARB INTAKE encourages diabetes, a bittersweet condition at best.  Ingesting excessive sweet stuff has negative consequences, hastening death being a key one.

DIGESTING FIBER FOODS is great for the brain and memory.  Berry content includes antioxidants, a mainstay for memory retention.  Who craves having Dementia?

The professional findings above must be considered in preparing healthy food choices for any Senior Citizens groupings.  Here's to a Healthy Menu for our coming reunion!
