PLEASE do yourself the favior of checking out July's Salem Art Fair here in the humid-free Willamette Valley of Western Oregon, where the temps seldom go above 80 degrees and the sales tax is totally  non-existent!  We will be hosting a Chinese student and glad to drive you around the scenic area, with plenty of historic sites, orchards and waterfalls and vineyards.

Also check out: www.salempeacemosaic.org.  It was launched by this Jam High grad and despite numerous skeptics, came to fruition, assisted by 600 volunteers.  Salem derives from SHALOM.
