Contact Stan Shapiro or Larry Schnitt.  They must know those who live on West Coast.

I think Florida would be a great idea...but set the date and let's get BUSY! Procrastination never gets it "done".

I live in Phoenix and go to LA at least once per month to visit my kids. Ruth Lerner also lives in LA. I see her occasionally. We're both Class '62. I don't check this site so why not contact me at sbsrd@aol.com to let me know if you get something going in LA. I'll let Ruth know.

I would love to see a reunion on the West Coast. I am in Fresno and travel well. There must be more of us here.

A Los Angeles reunion sounds great. I now live in San Diego and LA is just up the road. Hope to see old classmatesfrom class of 62 that also migrated to the west coast.

ABOUT AWESOME OREGON!

LA certainly is a better bet for us West Coast folk, as well as SF or Sacramento.

Last weekend is June we celebrate our multicultural WORLD BEAT FESTIVAL here in good old Salem, OR--just an hour south of Portland.  Come visit us, California alums.  It's held at Riverfront Park at a bargain $3 apiece.  Food is extra, depending on what you choose.

We also have oodles of waterfalls, such as Silver Falls State Park.

Right now we're taking a Texas/NM vacation.  Let's practice....with the cactus.

Your friendly neighbor,

Barry-Lee '59

if you decide to head north this spring/summer, we'd welcome a neat visit from fellow alumni.  i was class of 59, ike's last year before kennedy's election.  our class produced lester wilson who taught john travolta those fancy dance steps.

When organizing the JHS Class of 1957 50th Reunion in June 2007 I found quite a few JHS alumni living in California and a few in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.  If interested in putting together a get together for those able to get to Southern California this winter, I would be happy to put something together.
