Barbara and I were best friends from sixth grade through adulthood. She was murdered in her own home in Oceanside L.I. She was in her early thirty's and had three small children. Her murder was never solved. I keep her smiling, picture on my night-table and visit with the memories each day, the photo reminds me how fragile life is, and to live everyday to the fullest....I cherish our fun times together!! If, by chance, you new her brother Richard, he passed away from a long, hard fought battle with cancer, as did his wife Judy. Her sister Lois lives out on the island. Sue Schiffman Koff
Barbra and Lois went to Camp Ranger in Bethel NY with me for many years as kids and teenagers. They were both lovely, and attractive girls, and I have fond memories of them also. Camp Ranger was a short mile away from the Yasger Farm where Woodstock took place, and not far from White Lake off of Route 17. Mahoge, Chipinaw, and Gawahna, were the other camps around beautiful Silver Lake!
