I graduated with an Associate's Degree from U-Rock and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications Training with a minor in Theatre from UW-Green Bay. I moved to Chicago with a girlfriend from college and spent five years working in the Business Office at the Goodman Theatre. While working in Chicago I came home for Jeremy Carlson's first son's baby shower and re-met my husband to be Adam - Jer's brother. We got engaged in Jamaica and married in 2003. We moved back to Janesville and I worked as a temp for about a year and then got a job with the School District as a Secretary in the Admin. Services Department. We had two beautiful girls who are the light of our life. After 13 years as a secretary I got a job at the Department of Public Instruction working with Open Enrollment. The commute was difficult with the girls so when an opening came up in the Business Office at Janesville I came back. I will be finishing my master's degree in School Business Management from UW-Whitewater in December of 2019.
