Since High School, I worked at Kimball, Contel Phone Co., entered local politics, and have since only worked for myself.
I own Dubois County Title Co., Inc. and Huls Investment Company. Also am in partnership with my wife owning rental properties.
I travel extensively. Have been to Russia in their space program. Have piloted jet aircraft and have personally flown to 25 Km at 2,500 mph. Went to north Africa to see the total eclipse of the sun, and went on a camel caravan while there.
I study German, French and Spanish and can get along in about any country.
Upper Amazon trip was one of the most interesting adventures of my life.
A friend & I toured Australia and New Zealand the whole month of Nov. 08. Spent Sept. 09 in India and Nepal. Just returned from an Expedion to Antarctica aboard a Russian icebreaker.
Also, fyi my stepdaughter is from Brazil.
The wife and I have American Saddlebred horses, which she still shows all over the country (I quit showing) I was in the hunter/jumper division. At one point I was a snow ski instructor and downhill slolom racer.
I have now taken up cooking and have graduated from a Culinary Arts Academy. Photo shown below is helping prepare 2,500 meals at the West Baden Dome for the Cook Group Co. party.
I just completed the basic boot camp cooking classes at the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, NY. . . . tough class.
Just returned from a month in South Africa-Masai Mara, Serengetti, Olduvi Gorge, Ngorongoro Basin, and Victoria Falls . . . Sat on the edge in the pool.
