I graduated from Indiana University Southeast, New Albany, with a degree in journalism. I since have worked as a sports editor for newspapers in Seymour, and New Albany, Ind.
I also have been director of communications and broadcasting for the Louisville Fire arenafootball2 team, the co-host of "Louisville Panthers Face-Off" call-in show for the former AHL hockey team, and a reporter for the Indianapolis Business Journal, and Web editor for American City Business Journals/Business First of Louisville. It is part of a Charlotte, N.C.-based media chain with 41 sister papers throughout the U.S. The company also owns The Sporting News, Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal, NASCAR Scene and NASCAR Illustrated.
I currently serve as editor of The Southeast Outlook newspaper in Louisville, a faith-based publication affiliated with Southeast Christian Church. I also serve as an assistant coach and director of media relations for the Kentucky Xtreme, a professional indoor football team that plays at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Ky.
